My Creative Process
For over two decades, I've been immersed in the world of silk, exploring its beauty through dyeing and colors with different types of weaves. My journey into printmaking began out of a desire to transform plain white silk into unique works of art. This passion led me to London, where I studied the intricacies of silk-screening on textiles.
Traveling and living across the U.S.A., Europe, Asia, the South Pacific, and the Middle East, I was captivated by the diverse designs and images on fabrics around the world. In particular, the timeless and beautiful textile designs in Japan profoundly influenced my approach to my craft.
What I love most about silk-screening is the endless possibilities it offers—from choosing thousands of color combinations to working with luxurious silk fabric that feels incredible to the touch. My work has taken me to some of the best art festivals in the country, where I've been honored to win awards and connect with talented artists and get inspired constantly. Each year, with every new collection, I strive to improve and push the boundaries of what’s possible with silk-screening, creating clothing that is not just wearable but a true piece of art.
